Acne – Breakfast/Food Remedy

Look I’m not a nutritionist, but I can at least understand that the human body is somewhat of a closed system, meaning whatever you put in, you get out. So Garbage in.. Garbage out. Most of the garbage I ate seemed to stay on or ooze out of my pores; make your own judgment call on your diet.. You are capable of creating your own definition of nutritional garbage, but over the past year or so I started doing a few things differently when filling my pie hole:

1. I cut out most manufactured sugar (read: food that comes in a box and tastes Great)
2. I cut out most grease/fast food (read: chips, burger king)
3. I try like hell every day to get 30 grams of fiber (more on this later, but it’s a lot harder than you think)
4. I try like hell to cut out High Fructose Corn Syrup (read: Coke)
5. And this may be as, or more, important than the grease.. SALT. If you actually take a minute to read the labels on the food you eat, I think you’ll find as I did that I was eating something approaching 1000% of the daily recommended salt dosage. I cut this back to just over 100% and as a nice side benefit, my blood pressure went WAY down into that Live-until-90 category (117/69 and I’m approaching 30, heavy smoker). Big salt offenders include soups, boxed pasta, anything processed, LUNCHABLES!, and most things you find in cans/freezer boxes.
