Acne – Shower Remedy

I think the shower/bathroom is where the most immediately visible damage is generally done, so pay attention:

1. Use a hypo-allergenic face scrub (I use biore pore perfect deep cleanser); only use a little bit, do not scrub hard, do not use a washcloth.

2. Use your hands to make sure all face-soap is off your face (you can feel the difference of soapy skin vs. non-soapy skin)

3. Important! When you exit the shower, make absolutely certain that your towel (new one every day) isn’t mashed into your face. Instead, and after snapping it a few times to shake out any loose towel-dust, fan your face with your towel (do not let the towel touch your face). The air flow seems to cool off your face and thus close your pores directly after you’ve cleaned them. If you can’t stand to let your face air dry, LIGHTLY touch your face with the towel, but only Briefly.

4. I don’t care if you drive a Harley, eat live snakes or whatever, having bad skin isn’t manly..it sucks.. USE HYPO-ALLERGENIC FACE LOTION. I have super-sensitive skin, so there are only a small handful of lotions I can use, but Neutrogena Sensitive Skin (I’ll post a picture of my anti-acne regime later) works for me.
